I was up a half a pound yesterday, ...Good for you. <BR/><BR/>I was up a half a pound yesterday, even though I was faithfully sticking to my plan. But, suddenly I am down 2 pounds from yesterday. So, if today was weigh-in, I would have had a loss of another 1.5 pounds instead of the gain of .5 yesterday. Have I lost you? I don't pay much attention to small gains and losses each day. I do average out my weight and calories for the week. That way I can see a loss of, say, .2 pounds for the week and rejoice over that instead of comparing last Thursday to this Thursday and thinking I've gained weight.<BR/><BR/>Watch the calories and the pounds will take care of themselves. Your body's storage of water fluctuates with hormonal changes, salt intake, etc. A cup of water weighs half a pound. I remember lugging jugs of water into a TOPS meeting years ago to demonstrate how much water is in a body of a certain weight.
