Weigh InWeek 3

It's time to weigh in! Okay here goes the ugly truth. I am up 2 pounds. That brings my total weight loss to 24 pounds. That is very temporary I assure you(and myself)!

This week I'm going to concentrate on getting more protein. When Im not counting calories I eat double the protein others do because of my blood sugar. But for some reason when I count cals I find myself eating less and less protein. That's sets me up for incredible hunger.

Now tell us how much you lost and I will re post it in a list in this entry. Then I will put your total weight loss in the sidebar. So, weekly weight loss will go in the post for more of a competitive look at what we're all doing, and your name and total loss since January will go in the sidebar. Fire away!

  1. I actually managed to lose a pound after all- glory be! Of course, that means a loss of 1 lb actually over 2 weeks- but we don't need to spread that around,LoL.

  2. I found you through Mykidsmom; is it too late to join? Since February 12, I have lost 24 pounds because on that day I had my sweet little boy! I still have about 10 pounds to lose, and I could use some company. I figure it's too late for this week, but I'll be back next week.

  4. I missed posting the last 2 times with you sorry. I hope it is ok to share this week. This week I lost 1 1/2 pounds. Since January I have lost a total of 27 pounds. unfortunatly I do not have any idea how much I will lose for next week because my treadmill's engine died this week. :( Oh well I will figure out something. Actually took the boys out for a walk today. :)

  5. I really thought that I would gain a few pounds this week. However, I somehow managed to lose 1 pound. I am now down 3 pounds since March 11 (essentially since January). I should have a greater loss next week since I didn't go up this week.

  7. I haven't been tracking since January, but since last week I lost 4.5 pounds :)
    Thanks for the article at The Barefoot Mama. That was really good.
    Also I have started using Sparkpeople (again). I don't know why I ever stopped! It's great!

  9. I'm down 3.6 pounds since January 1st.

    I did not make very wise choices this weekend and my weigh-in reflected that (was only down 0.2 which is reflected in the above number).

  10. Sorry! I had a training class all day and Bible study tonight. I didn't even get to see my kids today!

    I am only down a 1/2 pound this week, but I am rather bloated for that special time and my salt intake has been awful!

  11. Okay everyone if its okay with your Im just going to put in the half pounds. I dont want to figure all the tenths and eighths and stuff. So Mary that would put your weight loss at 0 for this week. Is that okay? I know the new scales all weigh to the tiny nth degree but it's just a lot easier to go by half pound losses of you all dont mind.

    I've been tracking for 6 weeks now. My goal total is 92 pounds, but I'm taking it slow because I'm breastfeeding. (And I cheat a lot!)
    The first 5 weeks I lost 7 lbs, but gained back 4.5 last week (holiday plus menstruation!)
    So, total loss is 2.5.
    This week - gain of 4.5.

  14. Yikes ! had absolutley no time to pop onto here yesterday.
    My weight yesterday was down 1.5 from last week , so that makes 3.5 since the first of the year.
    If you don't want to add me onto the list for this week, I'll just weigh in next wek again with totals.
