This is it! This is the day of reckoning! How did we all do. I lost 2 pounds exactly this week. I like good strong round numbers.
I'm thinking I must have the right amount of calories because I'm consistently losing 1.5 to 2.00 pounds a week. Id like it to be faster, who wouldn't? But at this rate I suppose its healthier, that's what they all say.
I've been eating well rounded meals with salad as my base. Last night I had steak!! Yummy. That's the huge advantage to counting calories; you can still eat of all the food groups. I looked at South Beach only to discover I was pretty much doing it without knowing simply because things like white potatoes and white flour are laden with calories. I haven't had white potatoes since January and I don't even miss them.
Anyway on to the challenge! So what did you lose this week?

ReplyDeleteHey great job on loosing the 2 pounds. I agree I would love to see the weight come off faster from me to. The dh is done with tax season now so the treadmill is at the top of the list to get fixed. When that is ready, hopefully it has been long enough that will seem like something new and the weight will start dropping faster then. Oh yeah I lost 2.5 pounds so I am up t a total of 32.5

ReplyDeleteOriginal weight in March when I started was 167, I went down to 163 and now am back up to 165.
I don't get it. I really am trying. I am ready to throw out my scale.

No loss this week. I am just glad i did not gain since I ate junk much of the week.
ReplyDeleteI lost 4.5 lbs this week! I was dreading the weigh-in because I ate out, drank soda, etc. But by the grace of God and plenty of activity it worked out.

Vanessa almost any time I have tried to diet there have been lots of little false starts before I take off. Youve just been shaking out your wings. This week you will fly!!
Being accountable is half the battle. Never be afraid to check in even if it is a gain. We all have those gains. We've all been there. Nobody is sitting here in judgement of anyone else. This is a place for encouragement. So now go out and lose those pounds this week girl!
Cajunchik staying the same is far better than gaining. Good for you.

I cannot believe it, but I did not gain any weight this week. We went out to eat twice to celebrate - selling the house and my birthday. And we splurged with dessert. I've been doing well at home, though, because I don't have time to bake any cookies!

ReplyDeleteI lost three pounds this week. Whcih really is kinds just a one lb loss from what I was before the disaster last week! : ) Anyhow it is a 6lb loss overall!!
