Time to weigh in.

Yikes I got a head of myself. Weigh in is not until tomorrow. Whatever was I thinking? Okay weigh in today or wait till tomorrow. Shoot maybe I can get back that pound I lost earlier in the week by weighing tomorrow! Sorry guys. Im one confused lady.

  1. Did you change the weigh in date? I have to get a new battery for my scale. If I haven't gained this week I will be surprised.

  2. Ack! I was going to do it Thursday morning.. For me since the beginning of the year though the loss is ZIP - and I currently have 70 lbs to lose (for your sidebar information, I'm quite excited!!)

  3. Well I will go ahead and give you mine...I stayed the same. Guess the past few weeks of working out have finally gained me some muscle. Cause I can finally see some change. BTW on the chart you have me as 45lbs lost but I am down 57.5lbs total and my goal is 100. : )

  4. Melissa, as the winner for June's weight loss you are entitled to a prize, but I need your mailing address. Is the email on your profile correct? I sent you an email a week or so ago but haven't got an answer.

As it is already Thursday for me I will weigh in for this week, and it isn't good news. It's "that" TOM and I can see I'm retaining water. My weight is up 2lbs from last Thursday, for a total loss of 19, and 71 to go.
I didn't hold to my calorie level on Tuesday, but I know I can today. One day lost is not the end of the weight loss.

  5. I hate my scale, ok that's a bit extreme but I certainly don't like it. It teeters between the same number I have been for about a month, with the exception of a small up there for a bit, and going down. It is torturing me, I know it is. So I am either at 157 or 156???? Of course I prefer the 156 but I want honest results here.
I agree Mrs D there doesn't seem to be too much to maintenance....perhaps later on this could become an issue?? YEah we do have enough to worry about already don't we.

  7. I didn't lose any this week. That's actually a good thing though, because it is the time of month for me to gain.

Kitty Kat's and Birdie's softball team is scrimmaging the parents tonight so maybe that will help things along. I've got to get this weight off because I want to coach next year when I have three girls on the same team.

  8. Vanessa, I've been doing that on the scale for 8 weeks now. Thats why I just say 0. One week im up a quarter pound the next down a half then smack on 218 then up three quarters, then down a quarter...well you get the idea.. It all boils down to the fact that Im still 218. So I just say 0 every week; until the week comes that 218 isnt even in the equation!

  9. Mamaolive my email from there is correct but I didn't get an email. It may have gone to spam and been delete by accident try resending me another email.

Mrs. Darling thanks for the correction on my total weight loss by my total goal is 100lbs so I only have 42.5lbs to go.

Congrats to everyone else. I think I am going to begin including measurements now that I am doing some serious working out because I know muscle gain is going to severely change my numbers. Any thoughts on including a total inches lost into the weekly weigh in or maybe do it monthly? I may not even lose a total of 100lbs because I'm not sure what my weight will be when I reach my goal. My real goal is to be a size 8 (i've gone from a 26 or 28 to a 14 or 16 so far) and to be at 18% body fat (I don't really know what that total is right now, hoping my trainer can help me use my Accu-measure tomorrow). As you get closer to your goal weight if you are working out and doing anything like weight training then you may begin to gain muscle (which weighs more than fat) and not lose or even gain, if this happens don't get discouraged. If you are being good you know you are on the right path. These things take time.

  10. I just went to Curves for a trial and have lost 1.5 lbs. Different scale so I don't know how accurate compared to my scale with no working battery. I have to take it.

Hope your migraine goes away- way away. Praying for a good day with Tink.

  14. I am down 3 pounds. My class reunion is this weekend, I was hoping to be at my goal weight. I am 10 behind on my goal. I am a bit bummed but a loss is a loss right.

  15. Hey, I've gained a pound in the last three weeks. But then again I HAD gained ten and now I'm just down to where I've gained "onlY" one? Next week hopefully we'll be further away from the big numbers.

  17. Just wanted to wish you all good luck on your weight loss journeys. I am not going to participate in the weigh in anymore. I have found I am spending too much time online. Although I love the idea of weighing in here I have to cut back somewhere. And I can't give up reading the Dishpan Dribble! :)

    Best of luck!

  18. For sure melissa. If you have to chose one it has to be that you keep the Dribble at the Dishpan! I am so with you on that one! LOL

  19. Hi! I've been reading your blog for a few weeks. I started WW and working with a personal trainer about 2 months ago and I've lost 15 pounds. I was stuck at 13 pounds for 2 weeks and frustrated. After talking to my college roommate who has lost over 120 pounds, she suggested I up my water intake and eat more vegetables. I did that-while still eating protein and even some ice cream once in awhile and I lost 2 pounds in a week. What helped was having two vegetbales with dinner instead of one and a starch, and more salads at lunch time. Not always fun, but it works. I just thought I'd share!

  20. Thank you I will definitely try that!!!
