Not Again!

Didn't do well at all today. Thank God tomorrow is another day and I haven't eaten a thing in that day yet. I'm going to have to do this. I need to lose weight to make my knees feel better. I really need to lose the weight. I have to focus and get serious. This is not optional! I went to Applebees with friends today and ordered the 500 calorie steak and shrimp. It was delicious! That put me at 600 calories for the day. I would have been fine but then I did the unthinkable. I ordered the triple chocolate melt desert. It too was heavenly. But now I have another day behind me with too many calories! I must get a grip.

  1. ok.. I just have to know... why the hell are you 1.going to Applebees 2.eating 500 calorie meals 3.ordering desert??? You just wrote that you need to loose weight. I will assume that also means that you are WANTING to loose weight as well. Doing any of those things, much less all of them is not going to help you achieve your goals in any way. You are going to have to want to be smaller and healthier more than you want to continue eating crap. Ya, I know that may sound harsh but it is absolute truth for anyone trying to loose weight. You have to decide.

    May I correct you on one thing though? I am not trying to loose weight. I am trying to lose it. Loose is the opposite of tight and has nothing to do with losing weight.

  3. lol.. you're right. I can't spell, plus I turned 42 this year and my eyes decided to go. I need glasses for sure :oD The one I always see people do is use advise instead of advice... it makes me crazy.

  4. I know all about bad eyes. I am 50. Its jsut a fact of old age,I guess. It still doesn't change the fact that I needed that bswling out in yur first comment! :)

  6. I hope that you are not regularly eating only 600 calories per day. The under 550 calorie meals at Applebees are very good for a dinner. The cake choice....maybe not so much. I am totally understanding as I've lost over 60 pounds so I know how difficult it is.

  7. Margaret, no I was just so busy that I hadnt taken time to eat. That is most likely why I ate so much in one sitting.
