It's my birthday

Well I did better then I used to do on holidays and worse then I should have done. I stepped on the scale today and I had gained a pound. The problem is that we ate at a Buffet Friday night and I had gained two pounds Saturday morning. Then by Sunday morning I had lost one of those pounds and gained it back on Monday. I know, I know, I should stay off the stupid scale. It's not like I gained fat but weighing in all the changes is unnerving nonetheless.

Today I will be good to my body. I will drink lots of water and eat only veggies, fruit and lean meats. Today I will pick myself up and move towards the goal! My gift to myself is a healthier me this year.

  1. I decided that I wouldn't even worry about my diet yesterday. I stopped when I was full, but I didn't make a big deal out of what I ate. I'll probably regret that when I weigh myself Thursday.

I'm hoping to be pretty strict with myself today. Maybe I can undo any damage I have done.

  2. That's the way to do it! You don't seem to be beating yourself up. You will reach your goal. I believe in you!

  4. Happy birthday!

You should try www.physicsdiet.com. It shows your actual weight as a trend rather than a number.

Then you can weigh daily with very little guilt. :)

  5. I won't say anything bad about weighing daily! :o ) When I see the number going up (even if it is water retention, etc.), it helps to remind me that I need to take care of myself and give my body special care for the next couple of days.
