Grocery shopping on a diet

So I went grocery shopping yesterday and bought myself some groceries. Jenn wants to know what I bought.

Well here it is. I splurged on fruit already cut into pieces in a mixed medley. I bought little containers of cottage cheese that had a side cup for the fruit. The entire thing is 170 cals. I bought sweet Bing cherries, laughing cow cheese, cracked pepper triscuits, hummus, pea pods, turkey burger patties, sushi, and lo fat Swiss cheese. And last but not least I bought a lovely salmon steak!

I have an entire case of yogurt in the refrigerator and lots of salad things, so Im okay on that stuff.

It's 10:30 am and so far I have had a toasted sourdough English muffin with cream cheese and homemade strawberry jam. Im just ready for my morning snack which will be cottage cheese with a T. of yogurt.

Im still writing every bite in my journal.

  2. Sounds like a good trip tot he supermarket. I've been raiding recipezaar for new ideas recently. Since I arrived here I've been trying foods that I just kind of assumed I hated before, but it turns out I like them, so I've been hvaing to find new ways to cook.

  3. I still have never tried cottage cheese, it just looks gross. I should get over that since I've tried a lot of new foods this past year that I never would have thought I would have liked.
