I seem to be one of those people who lose weight then hit a brick wall. Last week I eeked out a pound and it looks like I'll eek one out this week but hey, where are the huge losses? Where are my 3 pound weeks? I know I am a hare in this race but need I be a crippled hare? Mercy! Okay, I gotta go out and make today count on the diet front.
Brandi pointed out that in the fable the tortoise is the slow one. She's right. I am the tortoise. Too complicated to change it now! Lol
Little bunny fru fru hoppin through the forest scooping up the field mice(chocolate cake) and boppin them on the head. Just bop them away! Keep boppin. Keep hoppin. Don't get caught by the old hunter.
ReplyDeleteCute! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd a good reminder!
I think I've misunderstood your metaphor. In the TORTOISE AND THE HARE the hare started out fast and then, realizing that the turtle was slow, went off the path and got distracted. However, the tortoise kept going slow and steady until he won the race. I would think it would be better to be the tortoise.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work! That pound a week will probably stay off better than three a week anyway.
Slow and steady wins the race!

I read somewhere recently about weight loss.....what's the hurry? Take it slow and enjoy the process!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I haven't checked out your weight loss blog in a while, so I stopped by. I am so impressed with your 41 pound weight loss! Way to go! That is a tremendous accomplishment. I am inspired by your success!
ReplyDeleteOh, and keep up the gormet cooking! My husband just loves your recipes. I have your apple crumb bars in the freezer right now, he eats one (or two) almost every day.
Keep up the good work!
Cheering for you!

Thanks Mary!
