Back on

Okay Im back on the ole' program. I just fell into it after a day of almost fasting. I barely ate on purpose to reset my insulin and by the following day I automatically resumed the habits that I had formed all year long.

Halloween is wicked in every sense of the word!

  1. I'm curious. Don't your blood sugars drop extremely low when you almost fast? I would be very close to passing out. I would definitely have trouble staying on my feet, be dizzy, lightheaded, etc.

  3. Brandi thats why I said I almost fasted. I had about 400 cals of nuts and cheese. Other than that I drink a predigetsted liquid protein that has 46 amino acids all broken down. Two Tablespoons of that brings blood sugar up immediately. I use that a lot to stabilize my sugar during the day.

I think it may have been you but someone requested a post on blood sugar. I'll have to write one soon. :)

  4. PREDIGESTED?? Sounds like someone else ate it first?? Bleh. You're going to lose a lot of weight that way, but I think I'll stick to oatmeal and stuff like that. Yowza.

  5. NO I wont lose a lot of weight! LOl I could only dream.

You see I have used a liquid protein to regulate blood sugar since 1976! It doesnt help you lose weight. In fact its used by body builders to gain muscled and replenish amino acids after workouts. It's more like a medicine for hypoglocemia. If you think of it in those terms you'll understand a little more what Im saying.

Yes, its considered predigested because all the protiens and amino acids have been broken down by machine so to speak. Thats the work the body usually has to do when you eat protien. But now you can get it in that form and ready for immediate use in the blood stream and liver and pancreas. YOu take it and you can feel immediate results!
