Weigh In

I have good news on the diet front. I lost another 2 pounds this week bringing me to my lowest weight in 11 years. This morning I weighed 204. I am thrilled to be a few pounds from 207. That was a hard number that I have danced around since October. That was my plateau weight that wouldn't go away! This means now that I have lost 48 pounds total. Hmmm I wonder if I can reach that elusive 50 pounds lost by next week. I had wanted to be there by January first of this year, however, I'm still proud of myself, after all if I get there next week I will only be 7 weeks off target and that is far better than all those years I vowed to lose 50 pounds and never even lost ten!

So who wants to weigh in?

Mrs Darling) - 2
New Me) - 1
Brandi) + 1

  1. Whoo, Hoo! Great job! You seem to have hit a spot and are in "the mode." My scales are not working again and I found out why- the connector for the battery is missing one of the prongs so it says "Lo" when you get on them. So, I have no clue about my weight.
I am keeping up with what I eat and am still struggling to get food that is better prepared but noticed that I am not snacking like I used to. I am able to eat 5 pieces of popcorn instead of a whole bag. I see small progress. I walked to the orthodontist the other day with the kids. I have also enlisted a friend to walk once a week after school. That will be both exercise and time to spend in girl chat. Keep up the good work.

  3. Oh my I dont think I will ever be ready for bathing suits. At my age all the loss has resulted in skin. I do so hope I dont have to have surgery on all the skin afterward but who knows.

    Congrats on the loss annette.

Southerner those little things make a difference so when you get your scale fixed you are probably going to see a nice loss!

  6. Good job ladies!

I'm afraid I met with the tempter last night. I'm up one pound. Actually, I think it has more to do with the time of month that is coming than with the meatloaf. I'm not really upset about it, because of the amount I lost last week. I've also been walking more, so I'm sure I'll lose it soon.

    Keep up the good work!

  10. YYYYAAAAYYYY for the new low! I'm so happy for you! I managed to fall head first into a bag of conversation hearts, but managed to pull myself after eating only 10. Ugh.

  11. Way to go, you got past that hurdle. It is so discouraging when you think you are making all the right decisions to only have that weight scale taunt you. Hurrahh with pom poms galore.
Alas I am still dancing with my scale, will let you know when we decide to sit one out.
