Some things are common sense

Well then if it's common sense why is it so hard to do? I have been noticing that my calories want to creep up to 1400 every day rather than stay at the nice little number of 1200 that I arbitrarily pulled from thin air.

So why don't I use common sense and just raise my daily count to 1400? Well I've decided to do just that. Instead of feeling that I have blown it when I go over 1200 calories I will just raise it to 1400. That seems to be what my body needs.

So much of dieting happens in the head. If I tell myself I can go to 1400 calories then I wont get that defeated feeling. Its dumb anyway to feel like Im blowing it over 200 calories extra a day! Why do we do this stuff to ourselves. I mean, I'm a seasoned dieter so why fall prey to such mind trips? It just aggravates me!

  1. Good for you!

I've been watching my calories in the mornings and afternoons, but I slack off in the evenings.
I'm still eating less, but I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. The scale just might scold me though.
