July 4th accountablility

I need to check in here to be accountable this weekend. I will watch every bite and count every calorie. I will come through this with a loss. I am up a pound and a half this morning! What's up with that? I must stay on plan this weekend!!!! I will report here on Sunday morning and let you know how it goes! It will be a good report! I promise myself and you!

    I was up a half a pound yesterday, even though I was faithfully sticking to my plan. But, suddenly I am down 2 pounds from yesterday. So, if today was weigh-in, I would have had a loss of another 1.5 pounds instead of the gain of .5 yesterday. Have I lost you? I don't pay much attention to small gains and losses each day. I do average out my weight and calories for the week. That way I can see a loss of, say, .2 pounds for the week and rejoice over that instead of comparing last Thursday to this Thursday and thinking I've gained weight.

    Watch the calories and the pounds will take care of themselves. Your body's storage of water fluctuates with hormonal changes, salt intake, etc. A cup of water weighs half a pound. I remember lugging jugs of water into a TOPS meeting years ago to demonstrate how much water is in a body of a certain weight. It was quite the eye opener.

  3. I can't believe it's only Friday. I will need lots of willpower to make it through the entire weekend. Somehow, the 4th of July is so much easier when it's during the week and not attached to a weekend.
